Dear Jane Shades of Red

I am still catching up. I was putting Dear Jane away after having her on show for the ladies that came over for Marie's Day last week and couldn't resist taking another photo of her to share. I only bring her out for special occasions as I would love to pass her down to one of my grandchildren. I replaced her with my cherry chocolate quilt.
Dear Jane Shades of Red

Happy stitching ......

  16. your red Dear Jane is beautiful. I too have made a red one but mine also has a very light butter yellow for the other color in the two color quilt. it needs to be quilted still - I like the border you have - I need to put a border on my quilt yet as I wasn't sure if I would do the scallops and see you didn't do them either - I did them on my first dearjane

  17. Helen that has to be one of the most beautiful Red quilts of DJ I have ever seen. I hope that you will use her more in the future as she deserves to be seen and admired, may be one could be used in the summer and one in the winter, if you Grandchild sees it often and inherits it it will mean even more to her as she will all ways know it was one Gran loved and used. Tow such beautiful quilts deserve to be seen thanks for sharing DJ with us again. Cheers Glenda Australia.
