Trip to Hospital

First I would like to thank everyone for the lovely comments in the last posts. I will reply to all slowly.

I had such a wonderful stitching day on Saturday with my lovely friends but then a couple of hours after arriving home I began to feel unwell .The next morning (Mother's Day) still in pain I went to see my doctor and she gave me a letter and told me to go to the emergency section of Knox hospital. They started me on an IV drip, did blood test and CT scan they then admitted me. So I am now sitting in my room with an IV in my arm feeding 2 different antibiotics. Turns out I have diverticulits ,an infection on the right side of my bowel wall,so will be here for the next couple of days.

Now being a devoted patchworker I asked my husband to bring in one of my stitching projects last night which he did and left it sitting on the chair. This morning when the nurse came in to check my IV she noticed the project well need I say anymore......lol......Dearne is working on Dear Prudence using 3/4" hexagons and her daughter is working on an Grits quilt La Passion.

 Hehe .........we are everywhere

Happy stitching

  19. Many angel healing hugs. I thought that condition was an inflamatory disease and could be helped with diet. Looks like I am on the wrong track. I wish you a speedy recovery.
