Lilly Pilly

Ok so this is Lilly Pilly finished. I decided to try my hand at raw edge applique and free motion quilting. I have never been happy with my free motion quilting and usually only use the stipple stitch which I can manage. So I decided rather than play with small test pieces I would bite the bullet and work on the actual project. Well..... I had so much fun with this one and in the end was very pleased with myself. I could actually relax and enjoy free motion quilting using something other than stipple stitch.

Happy stitching.....
