Dutch Treat

The other day I went to my sewing room to start to declutter and finish some UFOs.
I decided to make a small runner with the few blocks I had made out of the Dutch Treat book which I started a long time ago but never went any further with them. So I started joining the 4 1/2" blocks together with a quarter inch sashing strip between the blocks. 3 across by 6 down making a total of 18 blocks. BUT when I saw them joined up in the strips I fell in love with them again and have now decided to make another 18 and see how I feel about them, keep going or stop.

Happy stitching.......
