Zippered Utility Bag

Back home after our lovely getaway to Halls Gap, I have already managed to sew my first utility bag. I bought the pattern at Stawell Craft when I caught up with Cheryl from Cheryl’s Stitching. Love the bag and pattern.

It was wonderful catching up with Chery.🤗

Happy stitching.............

Winter village is lovely and my dogs do the bathroom watch as well. Is that a kangaroo near your deck? So exotic to me!

That bag looks so practical Helen, & you've done it very pretty!
Is it hard to sew with the clear plastic? Special needle or anything? I've always been curious about that stuff

Your bag is extra cute - love the felt(?) embellishments. How nice you got to meet up with Cheryl.

I have seen a few of these bags popping up in different places. So easy to see what is inside. Something else to add to the "to do list".

What is the pattern of the bag that you are wearing in the photo with Cheryl? Looks like French General fabric to me too!
